Burnout and compassion-fatigue are significant threats to longevity for many helping professionals who are performing difficult work within our community. I partner with organizations who are invested in creating nurturing and sustainable environments for employees by facilitating groups on mindful self-compassion strategies. These groups incorporate introductory training on mindfulness skills and meaningful guided meditation to foster a deeper sense of peace and capacity for compassion.
My trainings generally last 50 minutes. They include a time of education, a 25 minute guided meditation, and Q&A time for processing the experience. This format can be adapted to your unique organization's needs.
